Site Feed Atom

I just discovered that both My Yahoo and My MSN support adding RSS content sources to your main page along with their own content. This is used as a consistent way to collect and format news site feeds into your home page.

Blogger blogs like this one use a similar format called Atom to expose a site feed to exernal sources. It would appear as though both My Yahoo and My MSN also support Atoms as I have successfully linked this blog to my "home page" with both services.

If you are interested in receiving updates from this or any blog and use either My Yahoo or My MSN as your home page then you are in luck. By simply adding a new "content" section to the page and typing in the Atom URL http://kazpictures.blogspot.com/atom.xml as an RSS site feed, you will get a new section showing the titles of the most recent posts.

Click here to add this blog to your My Yahoo home page.

High Resolution - This is a stitched panoramic shot from my parent's deck. Rather than taking the photos with the camera oriented normally I positioned my 4MP camera on its side. Though you don't get the full effect online, the final result is a 15MP image. Posted by Hello

A stitched panoramic photo of the sunset between Galiano and Saltspring Islands. That is, I was between the islands, not the sun. Good luck finding the stitches. Posted by Hello

Dusk on Galiano during the annual Santa Ship arrival last year. This was taken next to a bonfire. You can see some of the burning embers flying through the shot. Posted by Hello

Tomorrowland at night during a trip to California last year. I didn't have a tripod so I put the camera on a garbage can with a couple of coins under it to get the angle right. Posted by Hello
